Cellar Tour & Wine Tasting
Accompany us as we explore the Baroque cellar vaults beneath Dürnstein’s Cellar Palace, experiencing what makes the Wachau wine region so very unique. At the end of the tour, you sample the Wachau’s wines – the Steinfeder, Federspiel and Smaragd categories as well as regional varietals – discovering what makes them distinct.
This venue offers a selection of wines, culinary specialities and premium regional products. Along with traditional home-style Heuriger snacks and dishes, we serve a wide selection of wines, with our wine list ranging from elegant Federspiel wines and the Smaragds of the newest vintage to rare ones from our archive. The ambient is more than exceptional: seated in the garden surrounding our 300-year-old Baroque “pleasure palace among the vineyards of the Wachau”, guests enjoy the view of the Kellerberg hill over a glass of outstanding wine.
Would you like to experience the most beautiful river landscape in Europe exclusively from a bird’s eye view? Or just enjoy the landscape and wine in peace with your family, friends or work colleagues? Then get in touch with us. We will tailor the perfect package for you, show you our winery, walk with you through our most beautiful vineyards and take care of the catering. In short: we make your Wachau excursion a special and very personal event.
With no less than four venues, we are the ideal event location. For over 300 years the Baroque Cellar Palace has provided the festive ambience for wine tastings, gourmet evenings, weddings, presentations and much more. Alternatively, we have integrated an elegantly designed event room into our distillery. And right next to our Vinothek, there is our large Federspiel seminar room, where the latest technical equipment is available for meetings and workshops, as well as our special Smaragd seminar room, which is available for particularly exclusive workshops.
